Lifeboat launches to assist an elderly lady with a head injury

Tower Lifeboat launched on service to assist an elderly lady who had fallen over on a vessel. The crew boarded the vessel before it arrived at Greenwich Pier where an Ambulance had been tasked.

The crew boarded the vessel to find the lady being looked after very well by the boats crew and that a dressing had been applied. The Lifeboat carried out an assessment before the Arrival of the London Ambulance Service.

The Lifeboat crew handed the casualty over the the Ambulance crew and then returned to station.
